Level 3 Diploma for Dance Teaching Assistant

The object of the Level 3 Diploma for Dance Teaching Assistant is for Learners to develop knowledge and understanding of syllabus requirements, safe dance practice and dance teaching so that they may assist in dance classes, usually helping to teach groups of students for a specified period under the supervision of a qualified dance teacher. The qualification does not confirm status as a dance teacher.

The Level 3 Diploma for Dance Teaching Assistant was launched on 1st January 2020.

Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching

The qualification is in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Theatre crafts for learners in the UK. It is optional for learners outside the UK. For learners studying Ballroom, Latin, Classical sequence and freestyle in the UK and outside the UK they have the option to take the Associate qualification or Level 4 Dance Diploma.

 

Arts Awards

Arts Award supports young people aged 25 and under to study and take part in the arts and connect with the wider arts world developing creativity, communicating and leadership skills available at 5 levels – Discover, Explore, Bronze, Siver and Gold. This unique set of arts qualifications builds skills essential for success in the 21st Century.

Arts award reflects many different interests and ambitions and encourages individual developments. Young people can achieve an award through any arts, media or cultural activity such as music, literature, film making or Drama and through technical and support roles such as Arts marketing, stage lighting and web design.

Arts Award is managed by Trinity College London in association with Arts Council England.
